Troy has extensive experience in the international marine industry as both a professional yachtsman and owner’s representative.

He has sailed as captain on a range of yachts and powerboats, both private and charter, in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, USA, and Pacific.

He has managed and coordinated various refit and construction projects worldwide, and is experienced in the specification of onboard equipment and machinery, as well as deck and interior system design.

As boat captain and project manager he was responsible for the development and racing programs of a number of Grand Prix IMS boats on the International circuit.

He was a member of the weather team for the Prada America’s Cup Challenge in 2003.
